Hitachi Kokusai Electric was born in October 2000 from the merger of three Hitachi Group companies engaged in the wireless communications-related business.
We have since been helping to form infrastructure for a safe and affluent society through activities intended to create new value in the areas of communications, information, broadcasting, video and semiconductor manufacturing, by expanding the power retained by each and enhancing the overall collective synergy.
In May 2010, we set up the Current Medium-Term Plan "HK-AV*10."
With our mission of being "a social innovator trusted by customers and creating new value in the next era," we set the goal of becoming a top global company in the two areas of "Video and wireless network solutions" and "Eco- and thin film processing solutions." Toward attaining these goals, we are promoting activities for adding value to products, stepping up our global business, and expanding our system and service business.
The major theme of HK-AV10 is to create brand value fully trusted by our customers.
The Hitachi Kokusai Electric Group will promote "HiKQ innovation activities" to reform all kinds of procedures from the viewpoint of customers, by observing the fundamentals, doing things the right way, and being fair and transparent in all aspects of our corporate conduct, so as to further enhance the trust given us by our customers and all stakeholders.
And along with all these, I hope that we will be able to offer new value in step with the times' requirement to our stakeholders.
